Mexico - The Mexican Riviera

With all the talk about Mexico I thought I should get out and see if it was as good as they were saying. All I can say is it was better!

A lot of emphasis is put on the fabulous 4 and 5 star All Inclusive resorts in Mexico which are really great and luxurious and I absolutely would recommend you stay in one but there is a lot more to it. It was lovely to travel to a country which has plenty of culture, history and great natural beauty.

The Mexicans have great Mayan history and the temples of Tulum and Chichen itza are really something and well worth a day trip or if like us you choose to stay in Dream Tulum you are only 30 minutes away from the ruins so a lovely afternoon spent away from the hotel.

From zip lines through the rainforests to Cenote which are large natural sinkholes in the ground that you can swim in plus scuba driving from shore; the Mexican Riviera really has something for everyone.

We stayed in 3 of the Dreams Properties Dreams Tulum, Dreams Rivera and Dream Canun and although most people would feel this is too much packing and unpacking I would always recommend my clients to stay in 2 different places along the Mexican Riviera as it is so diverse. Each beach seems to get more impressive as we moved hotel.

All the Dreams properties are directly on the beach and they are all white sandy beaches with palm trees and blue sparkling sea. The Dreams resorts are fabulous the rooms are large the food is great and the service is with a smile. I have to admit I was a little apprehensive about the All-Inclusive option as I had never experienced it before. All I can say was it was fantastic the quality of the food was great, the presentation was great and the service was great! I really couldn’t recommend it enough.

Most importantly we had no additional expenses while we were away bar the few day trips we took. Needless to say this is very appealing to lots of people.

Dreams have great kids clubs which are so well run and the children are so well entertained that they won’t want to leave. It is this that enables the properties to cater for all holiday makers from families to honeymoon couples and everyone in-between and remember it is possible to combine Mexico with New York or Las Vegas or even Cuba.
